While the Season 1 countdown ends on February 1, data miners suggest that Season 2 of Warzone 2 has been delayed until February 15, 2023. However, this hasn’t been officially confirmed by the developers yet, so take it with a grain of salt.
New data mining information suggests Season 02 of MWII and Warzone 2 begins February 15th, not February 1st. Seems like the new Season may be delayed. No official announcement yet from Activision.

Warzone 2 Resurgence map leaked
It appears the next Resurgence map leaked back in December, and rumors from insider Tom Henderson claim it will arrive in Season 2.
This leaked Resurgence map takes players to an island once again and features POIs such as Castle, Port, Power Plant, and Town Center. Activision has been taking down images of the map so it appears to be legitimate.
Leaks had previously indicated that the next Resurgence map will arrive in 2023, but we’ll need to wait and see whether it’s on the slate for Season 2.
New Warzone 2 weapons leaked for Season 2
According to the game files and attachments that appeared following Season 1 Reloaded, the Crossbow and Vepr-12 Shotgun are set to arrive in Season 2.
The Crossbow has appeared in several CoD games over the years, rewarding accurate players with a deadly one-shot kill, and it appeared in the game files.
Players believe the semi-automatic Vepr-12 is on the way after Shotgun Muzzles were briefly added to Private Matches after Season 1 Reloaded, and one matched the Vepr.
