Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded start date, time, preload
The Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded update will arrive on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 4 PM GMT.
While PlayStation players can pre-load the update ahead of time, PC and Xbox users will receive the update at the scheduled launch time.
As the name suggests, the mid-season update drops around the halfway point of each season, with Season 3 expected to arrive in April.
Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded
Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded marks the debut of the new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle. Players can unlock the Tempus Torrent by getting 25 Double Kills with Marksman Rifles.
While this will be quite the challenge in Warzone 2, those with Modern Warfare 2 can complete the challenge in multiplayer matches. A Tempus Torrent store bundle will also be available for purchase.
The Tempus Torrent will join the likes of the ISO Hemlock Assault Rifle and KV Broadside Shotgun as one of the five new guns released throughout Season 2.
All Resurgence squad sizes coming in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded
The Warzone 2 devs have confirmed that Season 2 Reloaded will introduce all squad sizes on Ashika Island for the first time since the new Resurgence map launched. This means that Solos, Duos, Trios, and Squads will all be available throughout the rest of Season 2.
So far, each week’s playlist update has introduced one mode while removing another, causing plenty of frustration for those who can’t always find enough players to fill a squad.
While this will no doubt be a relief for anyone who likes to enjoy Ashika Island by themselves, the devs’ tweet only confirmed that all squad sizes will be live for the “remainder of the season.”
So, we’ll have to wait and see which Resurgences playlists are available in Season 3 and beyond.
One-shot Sniper mode in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded
One-shot Sniper Rifles could also be making their way to Al Mazrah in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded, although it comes with a significant catch. The devs have confirmed that the feature will arrive during Season 2 but as part of a separate playlist.
Sniper Rifles haven’t had the ability to down players with a single headshot since Warzone 2 launched, and fans have been calling for a change to make the weapon category more viable.
Sadly, the devs have confirmed that are currently no plans to introduce the mechanic into regular battle royale or Resurgence modes, but players can still look forward to the new one-shot mode.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the mid-season update hasn’t been confirmed as the release date for this new mode, but the devs did say it would be later in Season 2, which usually hints at the Reloaded update.
